The coach wants to facilitate this transformation in ways that expand his client’s sense of agency and possibility.
Coaching is also a process through which this partnership or conversation evolves, a process that aims to help the client identify new ways of thinking and acting that improve performance. The client brings to this process a particular view of the world and a desire to change in a way that makes him more confident, focused, and impactful. The coach brings an understanding of human development, tools and strategies that facilitate learning, and an unconditional commitment to his client’s success.
In partnership, client and coach work together to help the client view the world, and his life within the world, from a broader perspective, one that reveals exciting new opportunities for personal and professional growth.
